Kom je eten? - Ja, graag. - Tot ziens! - Will you come eat? - Yes, gladly. - See you later!

Wat doe je graag? - Ik fiets graag. - Dag, dank je! - What do you like to do? - I like to bike. - Bye, thank you!

Practice

1. Choose the correct goodbye to 'Aangenaam, dit is mijn vriend':

2. Write in Dutch the goodbye: "See you tomorrow, nice to meet you."

Cultural Note

In the Netherlands, "tot ziens" (see you later) is a polite farewell, while "doeg" is a casual goodbye among friends. Adding "dank je" (thank you) or "aangenaam" (nice to meet you) keeps it warm and friendly!
