Practice

1. Choose the correct translation: "This is my brother, he works."

2. Write in Dutch: "My friend comes from Amsterdam."

Cultural Note

In the Netherlands, introducing "mijn familie" (my family) or "mijn vriend" (my friend) with "aangenaam" (nice to meet you) is a warm gesture. Sharing where they’re from or what they do is a great conversation starter!
