Dank je, ik eet graag kaas. - Thank you, I like to eat cheese.

Practice

1. Choose the correct translation: "I drink water in the afternoon."

2. Write in Dutch: "Please, one coffee."

Cultural Note

In the Netherlands, "brood" (bread) and "kaas" (cheese) are daily favorites, often enjoyed with "koffie" (coffee) you’ve seen before. Try "water" or an "appel" (apple) for a fresh twist—say "alsjeblieft" (please) at the market!
